A couple of weeks ago I stumbled onto the floral design work of DC-based florist Sidra Forman, and her work is so incredibly beautiful… it made me wish that I’d known about Sidra when I got married last year!
{I’m loving these sweet white peony centerpieces in glass beakers!}
As if her flowers weren’t gorgeous enough on their own, Sidra only uses flowers that come from sustainable sources and take into account environmental and labor conditions. She also has her own cutting garden (which is pretty incredible for someone who lives in DC!) and during the spring and summer months she is able to get nearly all of the flowers she uses from her garden and other local sources. Amazing!
For more of Sidra’s gorgeous flowers, check out her website here and her blog – which is equal parts food and flowers and full of delicious recipes – right here.

So lovely! What a perfect post to read on Friday =)
i just love her work!
Sidra did the flowers for my wedding this spring. Her work was so beautiful, and she is really nice too. I can’t recommend her enough!
We love working with her on weddings!
We love working with Sidra too – we’ve collaborated on vase designs and the sum is better than the parts!

Well, if those flowers all came from her garden that was really great. You are so good in planting those beautiful flowers. Can you give some tips in planting flowers like that. Thanks for sharing about this.
