Like most kids of my generation, I grew up watching Sesame Street and the show still holds a very special place in my heart. Â So when Michelle from Lemiga Events down in Atlanta contacted me regarding this Sesame Street-themed birthday party, I was instantly in love with the entire concept. Â And of course once I saw the photos, I just couldn’t resist sharing the party invitations and paper details:
Luxe Expressions created all the stationery details – starting with the gorgeous letterpress birthday party invitations complete with a red and yellow polka dot envelope liner.
Michelle made sure the kids were well-supplied with balloons, lollipops, and lunch bags decorated with brightly colored ribbon and custom tags with the birthday girl’s initials:
Michelle repeated the motif from the lunch bags on the napkins, coasters, and drink stirrers:

These gorgeous airmail-inspired wedding invitations come to us from Erin at Lucky Luxe. Erin’s bride and groom, Gabriella and Peter, were inspired by their shared love of travel. Â Erin combined the vintage airmail design with the idea of a handwritten letter for an unbelievably gorgeous and completely romantic result!
From Erin: Gabriella was originally envisioning a vintage airline ticket suite as a nod to their love for travel.  I began to imagine something Hemingway inspired — love letters sent from around the globe, handwritten and imperfect, personal and cherished, with drips and puddles of fountain ink adorning the corners of each piece.
I love how the design includes the splotches and splatters of ink wells – all letterpress printed along with the invitation text – in keeping with the overall feel of an antique hand-written letter.
An airmail border was letterpress printed in red and blue on each envelope. Â Beautiful calligraphy by Holland Wilson.
Erin lined each envelope with a print of a vintage map on beautiful linen paper.
