I probably don’t have to tell you that Pantone has selected emerald as the official color of 2013! I was jumping for joy when I heard this, and I hope you were too, especially if you are engaged! Emerald is such a unique choice for a wedding color and it can lend itself to many a style. Pair it with gold and jewel tones for a moody look or black and white for a modern feel, and that’s only just the beginning. Here are a few day-of stationery ideas to get you inspired for bringing the shade of the year into your big day! รขโฌโ Kelly

Emerald can be so sophisticated! Great picks here. Really love that patterned napkin… Think we’ll see any Emerald City and Wizard of Oz inspired events? ๐
So whimsical and fun! Absolutely adore the little airplanes! Question for Laura at Ashton Events, did you hand craft those adorable little airplanes or did you stumble upon them somewhere?! I’m looking for smaller, similar ones, with that whimsical flare for a client! So darn cute! Love your work!
Thank you so much for including some images from my shoots!!! They were all extremely close to my heart- and we didn’t even know that Emerald would be the color of the year!!! ๐
Thanks, Caroline! I actually found them at Hobby Lobby- they were hard to find. They were Christmas ornaments actually, but the air museum had some in the their toy area too? Sorry I can’t be more help!
