Business Card Ideas and Inspiration #11
03/06/2012It’s no secret that I love business cards – a great business card can be like a tiny little piece of art! I also love it when designers and printers incorporate edge painting into business card design, from bright pops of color to elegant metallics to sophisticated black ink. It’s been a while since I rounded up some inspiring business cards, so today I thought I’d share some of my recent favorites!

Love this post, thanks Nole! Could not be more obsessed with edge painting, such a great touch!
I looooooove these business cards, I want them all!!!
Love your blog to!!
Hi Ruby! Each card is made from different paper stock according to the wishes of the client and specifications needed by the designer or printer. Some of the cards are printed on chipboard, which is a material that looks very much like cardboard but is more suited for printing projects.

I, too, am obsessed with business cards. I could look at them all day. Love the ones you selected–especially the letterpress with gold edging. Perfect!
Something tells me there’s going to be a lot of that at NSS this year!

These calling cards are nice. They definitely portray a sense of formality when given to clients. What kind of paper are they made of? It looks like they’re made out of cardboard.
