Print Workshop
12/23/2010I was so excited when I heard that Christine from Yellow Owl Workshop would be releasing her first book! Titled Print Workshop, the book is all about hand printing techniques, from relief printing to screen printing to image transfer printing – and, as I expected, I love every single page. And just in case you think I’m a bit biased given my love of all things paper, even my non-paper-obsessed husband enjoyed reading through Print Workshop. I was lucky enough to receive a promotional copy, and I thought I would share a little peek!
Print Workshop is a wonderful introduction to the world of hand printing, with a primer on all the different tools required for printing at home and basic design techniques – all from Christine’s unique perspective on design and illustration.
Of course, Christine included some fun DIY projects for each technique…
…as well as image templates that the reader can use for each project.
The book officially comes out on December 28, but you can pre-order a copy right here. Congratulations Christine!
