Cara’s English Garden Floral Wedding Invitations

While I absolutely love the look and feel of letterpress, I also love it when creative couples decide to use a non-traditional material in their wedding invitations, like fabric or even invitations printed on thin sheets of wood veneer (more on that later).  I particularly love the result of these DIY invitations from the lovely Peonies and Polaroids:

Using fabric to back DIY invites seems like such a great way to personalize invitations without the expense of a custom wedding invitation design. And with so many great fabrics to choose from, you can easily find one that ties together your wedding theme and color palette, giving your guests an idea of what to expect on the big day.

I love the way that the simple construction and elegant, but understated, floral pattern perfectly captured the feel of her lovely wedding last month:

Just lovely… you can read more about the invitation assembly process here and here.

Hi Everyone! My name is Nole, and I love paper. I might even go so far as to say I have an addiction to paper, but I don’t see that as a bad thing.

I’ve always had a fondness for paper and design, but this fondness reached new heights during our wedding planning process as we researched letterpress and design options for our wedding invitations.  But now that the wedding has passed, I still can’t shake my small obsession with all the amazing paper out there.

So, I’m hoping this blog will serve as a showcase for some of the really amazing designs and paper products out there — invitations, greeting cards, stationery, and others — as well as some of my favorite sources of design inspiration.

I hope you enjoy the blog!
