Melissa + Jerome’s Argyle and Golf-Inspired Wedding Invitations

After setting the tone through their golf-inspired Save the Dates, Melissa and Jerome set off to create golf-inspired wedding invitations that reflected the elegant tone of their wedding.  Working with Sideshow Press, the result is a beautiful letterpress invitation suite in a modern green, white, and black color palette:

From MelissaAfter the great response to our golf tee save-the-dates, we wanted to keep the same aesthetic for the invitation design, while evolving to be more subtle and elegant.

Simplifying the argyle pattern to a quilted pattern still gives us a sense of the diamond argyle with out being too heavy.

The actual invitation sits on a digitally printed card of a golf course, die cut to hold the invitation in place.  The digital print gave the invitation suite just enough color to offset the whiteness of the letterpress and reinforce the golf aesthetic.

The invitation, map and reply card are all wrapped with the a diecut bellyband that displays our logo right up front (and adds in a nice amount of color).

Beautiful!  Thank you so much Melissa!

  1. LOVE the quilted effect of the streamlined argyle – a wonderful detail, and such a stunning application for letterpress!

  2. Beautiful .. stunning detail. And a fabulous mix of contemporary and traditional styles.
