Quick Pick: Curious & Co. Home Prints
02/22/2013I’ve always tried to make my rental apartments as home-like as possible, but now that I’m preparing to purchase our very first home I’m stepping into a whole new realm of decisions and possibilities. I can’t wait to invest in a few things to really make it our own! I’m also loving the sentiment behind these prints from the ladies of Curious & Co. – a perfect reminder for what really makes a house a home.

There really is nothing better than the delicate silhouette of a tiny baby, unless it’s two babies! The team from Curious & Co. designed these silhouette baby announcements for the new parents of twins Henry and Marie. Such an elegant way to welcome these sweet siblings to the world!
From the team at Curious & Co.: We were thrilled when one of our favorite clients asked us to create a very special piece for the newest members of her family. Susan and her husband Parker (and their pup Billy) welcomed twins Henry and Marie on July 13, 2012.
Susan requested a birth announcement design with silhouettes of her darling little ones. We kept her sophisticated and classic aesthetic in mind and created this soft and sweet piece in soft white and warm gray. Letterpress printed by our friend Colleen of Cleanwash Letterpress, the announcements served as the perfect welcome for these very special siblings.
Thanks ladies!

Brooke from Curious & Co. and her husband Nick welcomed a baby boy, Graham, back in September (just a day after Sophie was born!). I’m absolutely in love with the modern announcements that she designed to welcome Graham into the world. Every detail is just perfect, from the vibrant red and aqua color palette to the fun elements inspired by vintage packaging. Too cute!
From Brooke: When I’m asked how to spell baby Graham’s name, I always explain, “Graham — like graham cracker.” When it came time to design Graham’s birth announcement, I took inspiration from colorful vintage cookie and cracker packaging in order to put a fun twist on his name. What resulted was this red and aqua letterpress piece (with overprinting to create a third color), which serves as a cheery and playful welcome to the newest member of the Curious & Co. extended family.
Thanks Brooke!
