The Nic Studio is a multi-disciplinary studio driven by art, personality, and life. Nicole Block, artist and designer, brings her illustration skills to the forefront and allows them to permeate all areas of her work.
Weddings By The Nic Studio: Best known for custom stationery and invitation design at Nic•Events, Nicole brings new life to wedding invitations. Formal doesn’t have to mean fussy. Elegant doesn’t have to mean stuffy. For the couple that wants a more personal touch, Nicole creates both custom illustrated pieces and ready-to-order illustrated suites which bring a fresh twist to wedding paper. The Nic Studio offers 11 ready-to-order invitation suites, as well as custom invitation and wedding accessory design.
Nicole’s work has been featured in magazines such as The Knot NY, Time Out NY, and WellWed Hamptons; several blogs/online magazines; and two books, 100 Habits of Successful Freelance Designers and 1000 More Greetings. Her invitations were featured on The Knot TV Live, and she was recently filmed for an 18-part video series with Howcast on wedding invites. The Nic Studio welcomes all brides and grooms, heterosexual or same-sex couples. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and fellow designer, Dave, and her wonderfully willful daughter, Anna Jae.
