{blind emboss greeting cards}

Rachel from benign objects sent me a head's up about these blind embossed greeting cards that she found over on CoinOp… and holy moly, they're like a little slice of heaven:

Like Rachel, just looking at this card makes my fingertips go crazy with anticipation.  Please take a second and just try to take in all the gorgeous detail around the impression.  Please, for me?  Thank you.  You can head on over to CoinOp, the Pinball Publishing blog, for more details on the design and printing process – and many thanks to Rachel for the head's up!

Modern Wedding (or Unionizing!) Invitations

I just love these wedding (or unionizing, if you will) invitations, printed by SeeSaw Designs:

These invitations are both beautifully simple and completely unique – a perfect combination in my opinion!  Check out more, including the inspiration behind the illustration at the top of the invitation, over at the SeeSaw blog right here.

Super Awesome Packaging Design

Two of my favorite design studios, enormouschampion and Michael Fusco Design, were recently featured on The Dieline.  For enormouschampion, it was the packaging for their totally awesome Kingdom Animalia series:

For Michael Fusco Design, it was their colorful packaging design for Wheelhouse Pickles:

You can check out the original posts on The Dieline right here and here – and of course you can check out more from enormous champion here, and Michael Fusco Design here (Mike also does some pretty amazing wedding invitations, which you can find here).  Congrats guys!

{bracket} business cards

I've been on a bit of a business card kick lately – but can you really blame me with cards like these?  My latest favorites are these clever cards for [bracket], "a publication that features everything-in-between — ideas, process and voices overlooked and under-appreciated," recently featured on FPO.  Check 'em out:

The card, designed by Silnt, appears not to contain any contact information - until pushed open to reveal a bracket that frames the information:

So cool.  Oh, and speaking of business cards, my little cards are featured today over on Card Observer.  Yay!
