Halloween Party Invitations

When I was little, my parents loved to plan over-the-top haunted houses in our yard for Halloween.  We’d all dress up in scary costumes, turn a few empty refrigerator boxes into creepy castles, bring out the dry ice and fake cauldrons, and invite friends over.  I’ve always wanted to host my own Halloween party as an adult; and while I’m hoping next year will finally be the year, I’ve already got lots of inspiration for the invitations!

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone!  It’s been another exhausting week, but I’m super excited for the weekend.  I’m heading up to New Jersey to visit my Dad, which is nearly always just what the doctor ordered when I’m feeling stressed and worn out.  I’ll also be heading into New York City for some Bridal Market fun and, of course, still working.  Speaking of which, have you all popped over for a tiny peek at my new project?  We’re getting ready to launch in a couple of weeks and I’m so excited!  I hope you all have fun and/or relaxing plans for the weekend, but in the meantime…

…a few links for your weekend!

…and just in case you missed it, a quick summary of this week’s posts:

That’s it for me this week!  I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I’ll see you all back here on Monday!

Rubber Stamp Business Cards

I love rubber stamps, and I’m always on the lookout for cool business card ideas, so these new rubber stamp designs from MaeMae Paperie are right up my alley!  And while you can also use the stamps on flat notes, Megan sized the text just so it would fit on a business card, with four design and font options.

If you’re anything like me and get bored with a particular color after a few weeks, the best part is that you can change the color any time!  Ah, possibilities… get your own right here!

Floral Birth Announcements for Ava

Tova from Brighten My Day welcomed a new niece back in July, and the birth announcements she designed are beyond gorgeous.  I love the blind deboss floral pattern with the pop of bright pink and the modern font choices!

Tova paired the announcements with a monarch size kraft paper envelope printed with a matching floral design and corresponding thank you notes.
