New Giveaway! Wedding Invitations from Inkwell by Paisley Quill

I’m in the mood for a celebration.  Yesterday was my 30th birthday, today we introduced the new Designer Rolodex, and as if those two things weren’t enough – Thursday will mark the 3rd anniversary of Oh So Beautiful Paper!  And today we’re celebrating everything with a new giveaway!

Molly from Paisley Quill is offering one lucky reader the chance to win 100 invitations from her Inkwell Collection – that includes the invitation and two additional enclosure cards (like an rsvp and directions card) of your choosing!  The winner will choose their favorite design from the collection and have the ability to customize the color and wording of their invitations.  Each invitation is digitally printed on thick recycled paper for a luxurious feel.

So here’s how to enter: Head on over to Paisley Quill to browse the Inkwell Collection and select a favorite design.  Then come back here and leave a comment with your wedding date and choice of favorite invitation suite!

You’ll have until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, September 9 to enter.  Bonne chance!

Illustrated Invitations for a Wedding in Germany

As I was putting the finishing touches on the Designer Rolodex over the weekend, I came across these gorgeous invitations created by Bird and Banner for a wedding in Germany.  I love the gatefold layout, whimsical letterpress illustrations, and hand lettered text – not to mention the amazing color!  The reception took place in a castle in the middle of a lake in southern Germany.  Sounds dreamy!

You can see more from Bird and Banner in the Designer Rolodex!

{happy weekend!}

Happy weekend everyone!  Do you have fun holiday plans for the weekend?  We were supposed to go up to New Jersey to spend the weekend on the beach with my family, but the hurricane sadly canceled our plans.  So instead I’ll be spending the weekend at home, catching up with friends and finishing up a fun new addition to Oh So Beautiful Paper – I’m so excited to share everything next week!  Next week will be a big one for me; I turn 30 (yay!), OSBP will celebrate its 3rd anniversary – and we’ll be celebrating these milestones with a fun new giveaway!  I can’t wait!  But in the meantime…

…a few links for your weekend:

That’s it for me this week!  Don’t forget to enter the giveaway with Moontree Letterpress – the contest ends at midnight tonight!  I hope you all have a wonderful long holiday weekend, and I’ll see you back here on Tuesday! xoxo

Sneak Peek – Martha Stewart Weddings Fall 2011 Issue

Happy September everyone!  September is definitely one of my favorite months – it’s my birthday month, the anniversary month of this here blog, and it means that fall is just around the corner.  Of course, it also means that it’s time for the Fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings!  My copy arrived earlier this week, and as usual I’m loving all of the stationery designs in this issue.

For this year’s Fashion Issue, the editors drew their inspiration from beautiful fabric patterns – from plaid to florals to geometric shapes.  The editors highlighted five different stationers for this story, showing the various ways brides and grooms can incorporate patterns with varying colors, scales, and applications into a unique invitation suite.  I’m loving the plaid suite from Albertine Press and the ikat suite from Curious & Co. Creative – so pretty!

The issue should be hitting newsstands soon, so keep an eye out!

Custom Ketubahs and Wedding Certificates from Starshaped Press

I love it when couples incorporate ketubahs and wedding certificates into their wedding ceremony; my husband and I incorporated a ketubah into our wedding back in 2008 and I’m still smitten with the tradition.  I don’t often get to see custom wedding certificates, so I was thrilled when Jen from Starshaped Press sent me a note with some of her recent custom letterpress ketubah and certificate projects.  I’ve picked out a few of my favorites to share – aren’t they pretty?

Thanks Jen!

Did you have a custom ketubah or certificate created for your wedding?  If so, I’d love to see it!  You can send it to me right here!
