Pretty Paper: Notebooks
03/01/2012I don’t know about you, but I always like to have at least one small notebook with me at all times – just in case an idea strikes or I need to jot down a quick measurement. Of course, it’s always more fun to keep notes in something pretty, so I’ve rounded up a few favorite notebooks and journals to share with you today.

Pretty Paper in the Office: Aqua + Gold
02/09/2012The season of celebration has come and gone. This is the time of year when we wait out the thaw, daydreaming of far off lands, clear blue waters and golden beaches. While a few of us are lucky enough to make those dreams come true, I thought I’d try and help out the rest of us with this month’s round-up. With those tranquil retreats of water and sand as my inspiration, I’ve put together a few aqua and gold goodies for the office. Granted it won’t help you with your tan, but hopefully it will make your workspace a little sunnier!
No. 1 Wide washi tape from Little Happy Things; No. 2 Gold mini binder by Russell + Hazel; No. 3 Apple noteset by Sugar Paper; No. 4 Aqua paper bowl by Up in the Air Somewhere; No. 5 Aqua envelope seals from Keeley Behling Studios; No. 6 Gold dots customized journal by Bartlett & Craft
With all the lovely things going on your desk, it would be nice to have something just as lovely inside, don’t you think? I really love these scented chevron drawer liners by Hammocks & High Tea. You could also try sheets of fine paper, like this gold waves print from Paper Source. A little really does go a long way. You’ll be surprised by the difference a surprise print like this can make!

With each new year comes a blank slate and the oh so familiar resolution to keep organized. It’s all well and good at first, but it can be easy to lose your way with so may projects, papers, and bills to keep track of. So it’s only fitting that the first Pretty Paper in the Office post of the year be a roundup of office organization arsenal. From correspondence to finances, everyday tasks to New Year’s resolutions, I’ve got you covered!
No. 1 File folder set by Lotta Jansdotter; No. 2 Desktop details calendar by Our Paper Shop; No. 3 2012 Bills calendar by REDSTARink; No. 4 Tally notebooks by Set Editions; No. 5 36 month goal tracker by Michelle Smith
I came across lots of different organizers in my search for this post. But one of my favourites has to be The Letter Ledger by Paper & Type. Nothing thrills me more than writing letters. But when it comes to keeping track of whether or not I replied to my penpal or mailed that Thank You card to my aunt, I’m a scatterbrain. This nifty ledger will put an end to that and my scavenger hunt for stamps in my drawers.
