Hi everyone! Annemarie here from Scout’s Honor Co. I am thrilled to be guest blogging this week while Nole is on maternity leave (congrats, Nole!). Let’s start off with some color inspiration. I recently picked up the vintage stamps and mail stickers below… I love how the deep red + navy tones pop against the aged paper. Add some kraft to the mix and you’ll warm up the palette even more (and ensure it does not skew too 4th of July!). Below are a few of my favorite supplies from around the studio, along with a full list of shopping resources.
Vintage Stamps: Angela Liguori / Studio Carta
Kraft Card Sleeves: Envelope Mall
Business Cards: Paper Source
Vintage Mail Stickers: Paper Pastries
Mini Red Envelopes: Paper Presentation
Red Striped Bags: Whisker Graphics.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Sadly, I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather these last few days, so today I’m going to leave you with some beautiful work from UK-based designer/hand lettering artist/calligrapher Kate Forrester. I had so much fun browsing Kate’s portfolio and selecting a few favorite lettering projects, starting with the beautiful Valentine’s Day illustration that she created for her sweetheart this year!
You can check out more of Kate’s work, including some of her fabulous packaging design and commercial projects, right here. Thanks Kate!

Hello! Plus, Jane and Jeremy
04/25/2011Hi there OSBP! Nole asked me to write some guest posts and I jumped at the chance. If you don’t know me, I’m Ellie and I write a blog called Mint, design wedding invitations and other paper goods for my shop Hello Tenfold, take on occasional freelance graphic design projects… and travel, eat good food, and look at art as much as possible. My friend Whitney Deal photographed an invitation I designed for Bella Figura, above.
And here’s a little inspiration for today! Jane and Jeremy collected and photographed these bakery bags. Bakery bags! Who knew.

Lovely Labels
11/13/2009I thought I'd take a quick break from holiday stationery to focus on these super-cute envelope labels and gift tags from Olive Manna, found via papernstitch:
Aren't they cute? And totally appropriate for any occasion, from birthdays to, well, holidays. Check out the Olive Manna shops here and here, or via papernstitch.
