I loooove pretty gift wrap. I delight in picking out the perfect wrapping paper and embellishments as much as I enjoy finding the gift itself, and I’ve been known to hoard a roll of gift wrap or two once I find something I really love. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite wrapping paper, gift tags, and ribbons, and today I thought I’d share a few highlights!
1. Sugar Paper; 2. Smudge Ink; 3. Sugar Paper; 4. Studio Carta; 5. Smock; 6. Daily Sip Studios
7. Chewing the Cud; 8 + 9. Rifle Paper Co.; 10. Mr. Boddington’s Studio; 11. Darling Clementine; 12. Spoon & Sailor
13. Foglio Press; 14. Rifle Paper Co.; 15. Anthropologie; 16. Kate & Birdie; 17. Kate’s Paperie; 18. Herriott Grace; 19. Snow and Graham

The holiday season is probably our favorite season of the year. We love all of the parties, good food, and decorating! Wrapping gifts doesn’t have to be a chore. If you use beautiful materials, it can be just as much fun as picking out the gift itself. We couldn’t pass up this stunning wrapping paper when we spotted it at Urbanic Paper Boutique in Venice a few weeks ago! We used beautiful rubber stamped gift tags and vintage ribbon to accent each gift. – Bailey and Emma of Antiquaria
By picking a couple of cohesive papers and ribbons, our gifts look even more beautiful sitting together than on their own. How great would they look all stacked under a tree?
Embossed Holiday Gift Tags: For this gift tag, we used the embossing technique. If you go here you will find detailed step-by-step instructions for the process. For this tag, you will want a hunter green card cut to 2.25″ x 4″ and our “Happy Holidays” Calligraphy Gift Tag Stamp. Using a standard 1/4″ hole punch, punch a hole in the top center of the card. Simply thread twine or ribbon through the hole and attach to your gift.
Holly Berry Gift Tags: Cut white card stock to 2.25″ x 4,” and punch a hole using a 1/4″ hole punch in the top center. Ink your stamp (we used our “Holly Berry” Gift Tag Stamp) with hunter green ink. Center the stamp over your tag and press firmly to make a print. After it dries, simply thread twine or ribbon through the hole and attach to your gift.

Stationery Show Sneak Peek: Smock
05/19/2012It’s the day before the big show, and I have just a couple more sneak peeks to share! First up today are some of the new goodies from Smock (Booth 2241). I always love seeing the letterpress goodies at the Smock booth, but I’m really excited about some of the new products launching at this year’s show, including gold foil stamped cards, new calendars, pretty new double-sided gift wrap sheets, and my personal favorite – spiral bound workbooks! The workbooks feature both lined and unlined pages for notes and doodles. So fun!
Stay tuned for more from Smock at the National Stationery Show in a couple of days!

Stationery Show Sneak Peek: Sugar Paper
05/15/2012My walking list for the National Stationery Show is already well past 100 booths (which is both awesome and overwhelming), but the Sugar Paper booth is definitely at the top of that list. The ladies of Sugar Paper are returning to the show after a couple of years away, and their latest collection looks absolutely amazing! With lots of new greeting cards, art prints, even calendars and new gift wrap sheets making their debut, I can’t wait to see the full collection at the show!
Yay! Thanks Chelsea and Jamie!
