Oh So Beautiful Paper

I’m super excited about today’s giveaway – it comes from one of my favorite design studios, Paper + Cup!  I just love their amazing wedding invitations, stationery, and other paper goodies.  Paper + Cup’s artistic director recently moved to Paris and they’ve launched a new blog, Paper + Cup Sketchbook, to chronicle their inter-continental adventures in New York and Paris, and to keep track of inspiration sources and ideas.  To celebrate the new blog launch, Paper + Cup is offer­ing two lucky win­ners the chance to win three of their signature gold foil silhouette journals!

Designers and stationers, this giveaway is for you!

If you’ve ever thought about exhibiting at a tradeshow like the New York International Gift Fair or the National Stationery Show, you definitely want to sign up for Tradeshow Bootcamp, an amazing series of teleconference workshops organized by Katie from Kelp Designs.  Tradeshow Bootcamp covers everything you need to know before exhibiting at a major tradeshow, from booth logistics to pricing and product issues.  Back in March I had the honor of participating in the marketing and PR workshop, and I’m looking forward to talking with a whole new group of people in a couple of weeks!

I’m in the mood for a celebration.  Yesterday was my 30th birthday, today we introduced the new Designer Rolodex, and as if those two things weren’t enough – Thursday will mark the 3rd anniversary of Oh So Beautiful Paper!  And today we’re celebrating everything with a new giveaway!

Molly from Paisley Quill is offering one lucky reader the chance to win 100 invitations from her Inkwell Collection – that includes the invitation and two additional enclosure cards (like an rsvp and directions card) of your choosing!  The winner will choose their favorite design from the collection and have the ability to customize the color and wording of their invitations.  Each invitation is digitally printed on thick recycled paper for a luxurious feel.

Happy Mon­day every­one – and I hope all my East Coast readers are okay after the hurricane this weekend!  I can’t believe we’re already at the end of summer, but here it is, the last week of August!  We’re start­ing the week off with the final installment in our sum­mer con­test series with Moon­tree Let­ter­press!  In case you missed it before, here’s a bit of back­ground on the con­test and how to enter.  The win­ner with the best six word story will receive 50 per­son­al­ized let­ter­press note­cards!  We thought it would be only fitting that the theme for this week be “Last Days of Summer” – feel free to leave mul­ti­ple comments/entries, and don’t be afraid to get creative!
