Happy Monday everyone! I couldn’t resist starting the week with these beautiful baby announcements from Sarah of August Blume for her youngest son, William. Sarah combined a hand drawn arrow pattern with beautiful calligraphy and a sweet photo of her handsome guy. A perfect combination!
From Sarah:Â When I was creating the birth announcement for our son, William, I wanted to reflect our gratefulness for him and his health. With a rocky start in this world, he spent quite a bit of time in the NICU. William is truly a gift, and we are so very thankful for him!
The announcement was letterpress printed on double thick 220# Lettra, and features a blind impressed pattern of hand-drawn arrows. The belly band was flat printed on one of my favorites – French Paper’s Sno Cone cover.
I commissioned Angi of Angelique Ink to letter his name in a soft yet still boy-friendly hand. My sweet and incredibly talented friend, Beth Morgan, drove over 7 hours to photograph William when he finally came home from the hospital. Letterpress, custom calligraphy, and a sweet baby! Three of my favorite things. Although, the baby takes the cake.Â
