I couldn’t let this week go by without mentioning a program that is near and dear to my heart – and geared just towards stationers – Tradeshow Bootcamp! I’ve had the honor of participating in this fabulous program for the last couple of years, and there’s a new webinar series just around the corner starting March 7th.
Tradeshow Bootcamp is an invaluable resource for those of you thinking about exhibiting at a tradeshow like the National Stationery Show or the New York International Gift Fair. Organized by Katie Hunt of Kelp Designs, Tradeshow Bootcamp covers everything you need to know about getting your business ready for the wholesale market and prepared for a major tradeshow, from industry standards for products, booth logistics, sales tools, and retailer expectations, with a group of panelists from all areas of the stationery industry. I’m happy to be participating in the the marketing workshop of the upcoming 6-week webinar series – Claudia of Fig. 2 Design Studio and I will cover tips for pre and post-show marketing, driving foot traffic to your booth, and how to best approach the media. I can’t wait!
