NYIGF Winter 2013, Part 4

If I had to pick a favorite exhibitor category other than stationery, it would definitely be anything textile-related. I love all the pretty patterns and bright colors, and will happily award bonus points to anything that helps with storage or organization. Textiles are always well-represented at NYIGF, so today I thought I’d showcase a few of my favorites from this show, from apparel to bath towels! First up, a longtime favorite here at OSBP – the fabulous fabric gift wrap and canvas storage bins from Chewing the Cud!

I was completely smitten with the gold pattern stitching and neon piping on these pillows and scarves from Christen Maxwell. Such a wonderful way to incorporate color and sparkle into your home decor!

I loved all the colorful textiles from Patch Design Studio based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. From tea towels to pillow covers to little onesies, these amazing textiles are all printed by hand – from hand carved blocks!

I’ve been a Baggu fan for years and was thrilled to see them expand their collection with canvas and leather options. This time they added a bunch of fun new colors and patterns to the collection, and I’m totally in love with the oversize weekender bag!

Of course, I had to swing by the Aesthetic Movement booth to check out the latest goodies from Stephen and Shauna of Forage Haberdashery (the amazing duo also behind Seed House Stationers). I’m loving the new handkerchiefs!

The Utility Canvas booth caught my eye with tons of vibrant and colorful bags! The neon pink tote bag below is my particular favorite.

These preppy bags from Sloane Ranger come in a variety of sizes, from tiny wristlets to huge duffels. The tiny floral pattern is just so lovely, and you can’t go wrong with a classic stripe or lobster pattern!

I’m such a huge fan of Virginia Johnson, particularly the gorgeous scarves. I was so excited to see a brand new iPhone case collection at this show!

I’d heard about these Japanese cotton towels, so I was really curious to see them in person – and they were even better than I had hoped! I absolutely love the soft colors and beautiful patterns, and they’re incredibly soft. I can’t wait to fill our bathroom with these beauties!
