4 Year Blog Anniversary + Giveaway! Wedding Invitations from 42 Pressed

This giveaway is now closed – thank you to all who entered!

It’s hard to believe that it has already been four years since I started Oh So Beautiful Paper – half on a whim and half at the urging of an intuitive husband who knew I needed a creative outlet beyond redecorating our apartment every six months.  I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share beautiful paper with all of you every day and for the amazing friendships and relationships that I’ve developed over the last four years, from fellow bloggers to readers to amazingly talented designers and stationers.  So today we’re celebrating with a fantastic giveaway!

  1. Count me in! I would tweet and facebook too, but my privacy settings are jacked up so nobody can see them unless I friend them. I prefer it that way.

  2. Yesterday my best friend told me she is getting married and I know he would love the collection blushed. I’m getting married in October and I have my invitations if not …

  3. I really love the Riley and Finn wedding suite (not sure what the title of that design is). We are getting married outside, and I will be using flowers as my theme, supported by an art-deco sort of aesthetic- which this suite seems to have. 🙂

  4. Woods would be so perfect as an invitation for our wedding! We have long loved wood/woodgrain. My fiance’s dad is a woodworker, and one of his first gifts to me was a beautiful wooden tray. Two years ago, my fiance gave me a ring (by Digby & Iona) that looks like a tree stump with our initials carved into it. Last fall, he made an art piece to go above our bed that is strips of walnut… which we are planning to use as our ceremony backdrop at our September 2013 wedding!

  5. “Country Flair” is so sassy and fun – such gorgeous letterpress! Great for an outdoor wedding with lawn games and lemonade.

  6. I *love* the country flair! I wanted to do a gingham wrap around my invitations, and with this set it’s like Jackie read my mind! I also love the “shucks” and “woohoo” on the RSVP cards – so much personality and it really makes the invitations stand out from the competition.

  7. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Stripe Happy suite! The suite is perfect for the modern fun wedding my fiance and I are hoping to have. I love letterpress but like most brides with a budget some things have to give. Unfortunately they just might not be in our future.

Either way this prize is sure to make one lovely bride very happy! Thank you and congratulations on your 4 year anniversary!

  8. This entry is for my darling sister – she just got engaged and I think the Edisto invitations would be PERFECT for her! Please help make me the best maid of honor ever 🙂

  9. I love the Pastel Bride Collection 2! Our wedding is going to be a mix of vintage, rustic and modern and this invitation suite reflects that. I would substitute sage for the bubblegum to match our color scheme.

    Loving this shop!

  10. I’m already married, so I don’t need the invitations – but I just wanted to say CONGRATS on four years blogging 🙂 You’ve paved the way for stationery designers like myself!

  11. I love them all! But if I had to pick one, it would be the ‘love’ suite. So modern and fresh! 🙂

  12. I really love the Sweet Day collection. It’s light and fun with just enough elegance.

  13. I love the “Woods” wedding invitations. We are getting married on a farm with a country/rustic theme so these would go perfectly!

  14. I love love love the poppystones set! It’s bold, playful and feminine and perfect for my day!

  15. WOW what beautiful invitations, difficult to pick a favourite but the “country flair” suite fits perfectly with the vision for our wedding.
Love how mixing the typography (and the fun language used on the RSVP’s cards) gives the classic type faces a more casual and fun feel. I’m trying give the day a feel of classic elegance with fun surprises and these invites would set the tone for things to come perfectly.

  16. I love the Braddock! Very modern and classic all together! Love! What an awesome giveaway! It fits my wedding perfectly because we are going for a modern sophistication that would go awesomely with these beautiful invites.

  17. I like the Edisto. It’s simple yet beautiful. Our wedding is going to be simply about one thing, our love for one another, so these would work perfectly.

  18. I’m entering this for my sister and her fiance, they deserve nothing more than beautiful invitations. I think the Pastel Bride would be perfect for her. Her wedding is going to be classic and beautiful like these invites!

  19. I LOVE the Classic Love invitations! They would be my #1 choice I love the bright colors Yellow and Red are two of my wedding colors! On top of that they look slightly vintage and I am doing a twist of a 50’s backyard wedding(but at a outdoor venue) and these would look perfect!

  20. I love the Edisto. Our wedding will be simple and elegant just like the Edisto.

  21. Wow! I would be overjoyed to win this prize! I can’t decide between the Stripe Happy or the Geometric Deco. Both are stunning and would go with our theme of a Modern, yet Mid-Century influenced wedding in San Francisco. I’m looking for a clean invitation that shows our sense of style and love of graphic design- both represent us well and would highlight our theme from the moment our guests open the envelopes!

  22. The PASTEL BRIDE Suite!!! I am a June bride and this is exactly the look I’m going for to introduce our outdoor Austin, Texas wedding to our friends and family. The fonts and design are spunky, warm and romantic – perfect for our day!

  23. “Jet Set” would be my top pick! In love with the typography, the metallic gold, the kraft envelopes and of course the quirky copy. So very Moonrise Kingdom; one of my favorite films:) I am a Boston bride but am jet setting off to Italy next June to get married on a vineyard in Tuscany. We’re having an outdoor ceremony and reception at Villa Vignamaggio with a close group of family and friends. I’ve been looking for something whimsical and fun for my invites, and letterpress would also be a dream come true. My colors are pink and gold (having gold silverware, plates, candles, etc). I am hoping the day will look something like this: http://pinterest.com/courtneyperkins/weddings/

I found 42 Pressed through a wedding planner in the Bay Area and fell in love with your work. Congrats on your four years, and keep up the brilliant design work! xoxo, Courtney

  24. My favorite is Love. My fiance and I are a mix of cultures and it would be lovely to have “love” in the different languages we speak. It would go well with our diverse guest list and also since we are having a destination wedding in South America. I love the mix of fonts too!

  25. Congratulations on 4 years, what an amazing achievement!

I would love the Herringbone collection for my wedding. It’s classy, with strong emphasis on our names and a modern graphic feel.

Thanks so much for hosting the giveaway!

  26. I love the Sweet Day design. My wedding is on a river-surrounded island in the Tennessee mountains (fantastic!) and Sam and I really want the graphics to reflect our location in a simple way. We love the trees.

  27. Love Birds couldn’t be more perfect for me and my sweetie. He’s been begging for us to get a bird for so long–and he always stops to smile and a cute little bird hopping down the sidewalk. I’d love to surprise him with these sweet, charming invites!

  28. EDISTO describes our wedding, set for September 2013.

Picture glowing lanterns at midnight, under a star-filled sky stretching over the Colorado Rockies.

The entire celebration will be held outdoors, and will have a classy, yet casual feel (think Audrey Hepburn with 140 of her closest friends and family vacationing at a secluded mountain resort.)

    Timeless, classic memories.

  29. Braddock enraptures our modern, elegant love and style for our stellar New Orleans wedding.

Christian and I fell in love in NYC.. and he popped the question on a bridge over the Seine in Paris this past Spring. We’ve decided to celebrate our love and union in our favorite destination city in the country, New Orleans! Our guests are in store for romance, excitement, a 2nd Line wedding band march and TONS of dancing in the elegant Galvez Ballroom on the Mississippi.

  30. I am absolutely in love with the Jet set collection of wedding invitations.
I’m wanting to get married in chilly Lapland (levi). After a trip with my partner last year I am in love with the place, everything so quiet and delicate, the air being so fresh, what a perfect place for a wedding with husky rides, taking my guests from hotel to venue everyone’s sure to have a great time!
I love these invitations, they automatically shout come on! get your coat! this is a wedding worth travelling for!

  31. Oh my! The Country Flair suite would be just perfect for our intimate wedding at a local vineyard.

We’re having a small, but elegant ceremony and reception and I’m mixing elements like burlap and wine crates with lots of sparkle and gold. These invites would give our guests a great sneak peek into what to expect from our wedding.

  32. In love with the Jet Set collection. We are marrying on a private island in Jamaica so it’s the perfect mix of elegant and fun! We’ve been searching for invitations for so long and these just took the #1 spot. Please, Please, Please pick us!!!!

  33. The Gatsby is gorgeous! What a thrill to have the chance to win!!! Thank you and bonne anniversaire to OSBP!

  34. My sister is getting married March 9 th The LOVE collection would her perfect for the backyard affair!

  35. I love the simple collection, they would look AMAZING. I sure hope I am lucky enough to win, congrats to whoever is the lucky bride!

  36. “Classic Love” is not only one of my favorite collections from 42 pressed, but it also is the theme of our July 2013 wedding at a steakhouse in the heart of downtown Chicago.

Think red roses, twinkle lights, black and white framed photos, feathers, pearls, cigars and a stand-up band playing Sinatra.

Doesn’t get more classic than that.
