New Giveaway! A Year of Stationery from Smudge Ink!

This giveaway is now closed.  Thank you for entering!

As you might have guessed from my hints on Friday and earlier this morning, I’m super excited about today’s giveaway!  Smudge Ink is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a whole year’s worth of beautiful letterpress and offset printed stationery!  Can you imagine anything more perfect?

Smudge Ink is known for bold and vibrant letterpress printed greeting cards and custom wedding invitations (I’m proud to have them as a member of the Designer Rolodex) – along with calendars, gift wrap, and offset printed greeting cards.  I loved the sneak peek at some of their new paper goodies in the colorful Smudge Ink booth at this year’s National Stationery Show.

The winner will receive a package from Smudge Ink that includes letterpress and offset printed birthday cards, thank you cards, cards for the various holidays, boxed note cards – even two calendars!  The greeting cards are letterpress printed at the Smudge Ink studios, a renovated textile factory located in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, and all boxed notes and calendars are offset printed in Maine.

So here’s how to enter:  Visit and “Like” Smudge Ink on Facebook – then come back here and leave a comment with your favorite holiday of the year!  You’ll have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 to enter the giveaway.  One winner will be selected randomly and notified via email.  Bonne chance!

Not only because of the meaning of the day, but because all of my wonderful flowers that have been fast asleep all winter are starting to sprout. Not to mention who doesn’t love an Easter egg hunt and an excuse to get dressed up and wear a big hat!

  96. I love holidays in general, so it’s normally hard for me to choose a favorite. This year, however, Mother’s Day has become a very special day for me and it is now my new favorite holiday. 98. by far it’s HALLOWEEN! it’s the one time of the year where fall is in full bloom and the sites and smells are sooo cozy. we start with pumpkin patching and apple picking then have a week long horror movie viewing up until the big night. Then we take our 3 year old Zoe, round to all the lit up and festive houses getting treats and meeting up with neighbors!

  99. I love them all – I’m always looking for an excuse to celebrate. Christmas seems to have the most magic though – especially with a little one in the house!

  100. Thanksgiving. First, the food is amazing! Second, my fiancé and I have an annual Thanksgiving pot luck with all our friends to celebrate the year and have gathering together before the hubbub and family obligations of the holiday season consume us.

  101. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, it has a special place in my heart. From the joy of giving to embracing yesteryear and starting new traditions. We live in California and celebrate with either a palm tree and fun cocktails to visiting home in the midwest and snuggling up by the fire amidst the white of winter.

But it is not just Christmas…it is the anticipation and decorations that we have the whole month of December. I fully believe in the 12 days of Christmas! My husband and I share a romantic dance each ‘Christmas Night’ after all has settled down… a memorable and peaceful season.

  102. Easter is my favourite holiday, what more could you want from a holiday, CHOCOLATE, fluffy bunnies, Easter egg hunts and family time. Perfect.

for many reasons – its a celebration of spring and rebirth, a reminder to be thankful for all the freedoms we have, a night filled with traditions, and despite the matzah, a night filled with delicious foods.

  108. My favorite holiday is THANKSGIVING. I feel like it kicks off the end of the year/new year holiday season by bringing everyone together. Not to mention all the yummy FOOD at Thanksgiving dinners!

  109. I LOVE Christmas. It is such a magical holiday and has become filled with more pixie dust now that I have 2 little girls. Plus I love baking all of those holiday cookies and wrapping presents. And who doesn’t love receiving all of those holiday cards in the mail?

  110. My favorite holiday is Flag Day — not because of the holiday part, but because it’s my best friend’s birthday, and it kicks off the two-week-long Birthday Season for her, myself, and her wife. Dinners out, get-togethers with friends, and cute little presents for each other — what could be better than hanging with two of my close friends?

  111. My favorite holiday is, so typical, Thanksgiving. I enjoy being surrounded by my family and I enjoy feeding them even more. It’s great to gather around a table with smiling faces, sharing delicious dishes. My birthday is a couple of days before, so we always have a big cake as well!

  112. My favorite holiday is Halloween! I love creating my own costumes and giving out candy.

  113. My favorite holiday is Christmas. The love and joy that I see not only in myself but others is so inspiring 🙂

  114. My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love the decorations and I love dressing up, and I love handing out candy. I’m one of the few houses in my neighborhood that hands out candy anymore so it’s nice to see excited kids in their costumes, grateful for even one piece of candy. My favorite part is carving a jack-o-lantern, it’s been a tradition with me and my father every year. When I was a child, he’d do most of the work. Now that I’m an adult and more creative, I do most of the work but I still have him carve the top off for me.

  115. Given my obsession with all things paper, I would absolutely love to win this giveaway. I “liked” Smudge Ink on Facebook, and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Love the season, our family traditions, and really being able to set aside a few days from work (guilt free) to focus on what is really important to me.

  116. Thanksgiving, celebrated on Caoe Cod, where we channel the Pilgrims, do a turkey trot, then eat ourselves into a turkey-and-stuffing induced coma.

  117. What a fantastic giveaway! I just popped over to like them and I’m grinning over the possibility of receiving such a package in the mail!

  118. Definitely, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! A time to recOnnect with family and friends with whom I shared great and “not-so-greAt” memOries 🙂

  119. Truth be told….my favorite holiday is the next one!! I really do just love all of them….and especially like to send cards on the ones that people don’t expect to get one…..though I’ve been told by someone that they look forward to my St Patrick’s Day card every year!

I liked Smudge Ink on FB!
