Oh So Beautiful Paper

I love the combination of line drawings and letterpress printing – the two really are the perfect combination.  I was absolutely thrilled when Sara from Stinkerpants sent over these adorable wedding invitations that she created for a recent client, featuring Sara’s signature illustrations and beautiful hand lettering from Lettergirl.  I love how Sara included a cable car to represent San Francisco – so cute!

From Sara: Kristen & Jay’s letterpress invitation is my most recently completed project, and is my first project featuring calligraphy by Lettergirl.  This couple was looking for a formal invitation featuring San Francisco with a fun element.  Initially they wanted something exactly like this, but after I suggested a cable car we changed direction a bit.  I love how it turned out, and I really think the calligraphy adds something special.
