As much as I love bright pops of color, show me something with the right combination of neutrals and clean design and I’m instantly in love. Â This is absolutely the case with the save the dates that Laura from Lande & Maze created for her own wedding later this summer. Â Laura combined screen printed chevron stripes with kraft paper with individually hand typed text for a unique, personal, and beautifully understated save the date.
From Laura: Since I design printed materials for weddings all the time, it was a challenge to actually design something for myself.  My fiancé Thomas and I are planning a vintage modern wedding, with neutral colors and textures.  My save the dates are just a little hint of ephemera to represent the day.
I decided to use alternative printing methods to help stay within my budget and set the tone. Â I hand screen printed a light gray chevron pattern on brown kraft paper for the enclosure. Â Each save the date was typed individually and all the envelopes were addressed on my vintage typewriter. Â The inside of the save the date reveals our wedding date and a black and white engagement photo mounted with photo corners.
Just gorgeous Laura!
