Art Deco Garden Party Wedding Invitations
11/15/2010If you love the idea of a garden wedding at a historic home (all very much like the setting of The Great Gatsby), then you’ll love these beautiful blue and gold wedding invitations from Jocelyn at Petit Bureau. Inspired by the bride and groom’s shared love for Art Deco architectural details and of course the wedding’s beautiful garden setting, Jocelyn set out to create a cohesive invitation design while merging the two styles.
From Jocelyn: This invitation was designed for a wedding that took place in a garden setting at a private residence in Sonoma, California. The bride and groom love Art Deco, so I tried to incorporate that style through the type and use of decorative borders. We started with the Save the Date and the wedding invitation set evolved from that piece.
Jocelyn letterpress printed the main invitation on a thick Waterford watercolor paper. The other items were offset printed on Neenah’s Classic Crest in Classic Natural White 110# cover weight paper. In addition to the save the date and invitation suite, Jocelyn also created custom thank you cards, menus, and table numbers.
So delicate and beautiful – and I absolutely adore the soft blue and gold color palette. Just lovely! Thank you so much Jocelyn!

I LOVE these – I am curious about the blue and silver or gray instead of gold too. My problem is that I would only need 25 invites and response cards. On a budget but love the deco style so much. Please let me know if it’s a possibility.
I am interested in the Art Deco Garden party invitations but in slate blue and silver or gray instead of gold. Is it possible to order 200 in the appropriate color and how much would this cost as we are on a budget? Thanks for your time.
The bride said the catering provided the holders. Maybe you can contact them? http://www.alexscatering.com/
Do you know or are you able to find out the vendor for the table number holders? Looking around and it’s hard to find something beautiful and simple. Thanks!
