Have you all heard about this book, Rein­vent­ing Let­ter­press by Char­lotte Rivers?  Rein­vent­ing Let­ter­press is actu­ally the title of the Euro­pean ver­sion – it’ll be released in the United States next month by Chron­i­cle Books under the title Lit­tle Book of Let­ter­press.  It has a lovely intro­duc­tion with a short his­tory of let­ter­press and more than 100 pro­files of let­ter­press stu­dios around the world.  I just got my copy and haven’t been able to stop flip­ping through all the gor­geous let­ter­press eye candy:

It’s a won­der­ful book, and would make a sweet gift for any­one with an appre­ci­a­tion for let­ter­press sta­tionery.  You can pre-order a copy of the upcom­ing Amer­i­can release here or here.

p.s. I should prob­a­bly clar­ify that I actu­ally pur­chased a copy of this book – it wasn’t a pro­mo­tional copy.  I’m a gen­uine let­ter­press afi­cionado (just not a practitioner)!

   I know noth­ing about let­ter­press meth­ods other than that I love let­ter­press prod­ucts and I wish I knew how to do it! I would totally buy that book to peruse through.
