I really couldn’t be more excited to share these invitations (and Save the Dates!) – exactly one year ago today, Jeremy won a Save the Date contest sponsored by Delphine. Since his fiancée was out of town during the contest, Jeremy took a bit of groom initiative and submitted an awesome inspiration board for a fabulously fun wedding full of camping and canoeing, and won! Well, today Jeremy and Jennifer are back with their beautiful blue and yellow Save the Dates and wedding invitations – all based on Delphine’s hibiscus design:
From Erika: I was so excited when Jennie and Jeremy won the contest last year! After exchanging emails with Jeremy, I learned that they are getting married at a camp (canoes! fresh air! adorable!!!), their favorite colors are yellow and blue, and they wanted to impart a fun, breezy, fresh and modern feeling with their invitations and save the dates.
We agreed the Hibiscus design was just perfect for them, letterpress printed in “mimosa” and “bleu” inks on bright white paper. The flowers are little scribbles and helped keep the design on the informal side, which is perfect for their location.
The “stitched” border brings in their love of fabric, which they will be using in the decor at their wedding. We paired it with bright yellow envelopes, so guests would know something fun was in the works before they even opened up their mail.
I’m completely in love with the entire design, from the bright blue and yellow hues to the stitching detail and sweet floral element. Congrats again to Jeremy and Jennifer, and thanks so much to Erika and Delphine!
