This week’s real invitations come from Julie of the lovely blog Julie + Todd (they’re getting married in 18 days!) Julie posted electronic sketches of her invitations a few weeks back, but I begged her to share the actual invitations in all of their lovely letterpress glory and she was kind enough to oblige my request. So here they are!
From Julie: Our invitations were inspired by Spring and the little birds in our neighborhood. I like their whimsical nature and the bright color matches our color palette, which is yellow and brown. I liked the idea of having a really fun invitation that would make people smile.

Thanks so much Julie, for sharing your beautiful invitations with us – I can’t wait to see the photos from your wedding!

[...] Bird-themed invitations. Invitations last a life time, and so I say SPLURGE! I love hanging my invitations by my desk, on the fridge, and other places I can see them because they remind me of our amazing day! Memes, ready-to-go themes, or pre-printed invitations will not turn out as nice, although I am sure there are affordable ways to have classy, unique, quality invitations (even fancy paper can make a world of difference). If you have the resources, go custom, and if you can, go letterpress! These letter-press bird invitations are a dream form Oh So Beautiful Paper. [...]
