Wedding Invitations — Mok Duk
11/05/2008I first came across the invitations from letterpress design studio Mok Duk via the always amazing Brooklyn Bride, and I loved Mok Duk’s work so much that I wanted to share more of it here with you. Illustrator and printmaker Anne Benjamin is the creative force behind Mok Duk – a line of custom invitations, greeting cards and art prints based out of Chicago. And, just in case you were wondering, the name “Mok Duk” (pronounced “mock duck”) comes from a tasty vietnamese dish that Anne sampled on a trip to Minneapolis. Check out the portfolio below:

{beautiful details on these letterpress and screenprinted invitations}

{fabulous letterpress handwriting}

{clean and classic – but still modern – with vintage stamp accents}

{I love the mix of letterpress and chipboard, and of handwriting and modern typeface…}
I’ve got more photos from Mok Duk’s greeting cards and art prints coming up later today, so check back soon!

I just adore the birds. The handwritten quality is so endearing. Also love the spatter detail, give such a fresh feel.
