Three things I love…

11/13/2008

To start the morning off, here are a few things that are inspiring me today…

{this gorgeous kitchen via Desire to Inspire}

I've been dreaming about my dream kitchen in my non-existent dream bungalow a lot lately.  I've been on a bit of a cooking kick lately (made this amazing risotto recipe last night) and would love to have this kind of space and storage in a kitchen…

I love these overgrown floral wallpapers from The City Sage – even better when mixed with a zig-zag rug!

I've had this picture of the white Tord Boontje panel floating around in my head since Meg featured A Desert Bride last month, but this post pushed me over the edge.  I was lucky enough to receive one of his garland light shades as a birthday present earlier this year, but I've fallen really hard for this panel and his curtain textiles.  Here are a few more lovelies:

    Thanks for the link love Nole! I totally agree that the zigzag rug MAKES the photo.
    And that kitchen? Swoon! I’m totally digging that combination of all white with a touch of blonde wood (those countertops!) and this image is the perfect example of how chic and simple the look can be…

    Hi Maggie! They do come in colors, from black to bright green and red. I found some at Velocity Art & Design (http://www.velocityartanddesign.com/until-dawn-curtain-c-514-p-1-pr-16438.html), although it looks like the red is sold out. There are a few available on ebay (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=Tord+Boontje), including in red and at reasonable prices. Let me know if you end up getting one!

    These are really amazing! I saw that Desert Bride post, but didn’t even notice what was behind them… now I’m mesmerized. And also wondering if they come in colors?! Thanks for the goodies.
